Humble beginnings

My very first post! Why am I starting now?
I recently came to love the stock market. I am completely fresh in the game, I started in January 2020. In the short time so far it has been very fun to enter my market value on an excel chart that I have created myself. I want to share my journey through the stock market. These are really humble beginnings. We are talking about small amounts, I am still only 2 months on the road. The amounts will be shown in NOK currency.

In my blog, I will be completely open about my inventory and I will show you exact figures. In the image below you will see two lines called “acquisition value” and “market value”. The acquisition value is the amount I have spent on stocks and funds (including brokerage, costs, etc.). The market value is the present value. At the moment my market value is lower than the acquisition value. In my blog, I will be completely open about my inventory and I will show you exact figures. To know how my investments are going, I compare my own portfolio with the Oslo Stock Exchange (OSEBX) and the S&P 500. I like to compare with Norwegian Stock Exchange, since my portfolio has a lot of norwegian stocks. So far I seem to have done okay.

In the next post I will go into more detail about which shares and funds I own.
Thank you for taking the time to read. I’ll end for now with an inspirational quote.

Atleast if you begin now, you will start to win in 10 years.
